I absolutely love hearing about the latest real estate projects that are in the works. It gives me a great sense of pride to know that if a client happens to hear about an upcoming residential construction project, I’ll already have the inside scoop.
Before a builder will commit to obtaining the rights to develop on a particular plot of land, they will go through many phases of planning and due diligence. One could say that it all starts off with a dream.
Often times, the builder will gain consumer excitement by releasing details about the different home models they plan to release, visions of community amenities and information regarding early bird discounts & upgrades.
Because the permit and construction process can take some time, the builder will release artist renderings of the proposed models & floor plans. The above is an example of an architectural or an exterior real estate rendering.
While these renderings can certainly attract one’s interest, it’s important to work with a Realtor who has experience with multiple builders. It’s essential to know the particular builder’s design style and how it compares to other builders with offerings in the area.
